Notice of Vacancies
The Mauritius Emerging Technologies Council (METC), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication, and Innovation, is the apex body of the Government of Mauritius for the formulation of national policies and strategies in emerging technologies and promotion thereof.
The METC is inviting suitably qualified candidates to submit their applications for the following posts to be filled on a contractual basis for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Note to applicants
- Age limit: Applicants should not have reached their 45th birthday by the closing date for the submission of applications.
- Closing date for submission of applications: not later than 15:00 hrs on Monday 25 March 2024.
- Application form may be downloaded on the website or may also be collected at the Reception Counter of Mauritius Emerging Technologies Council Level 6, Cyber Tower II, Ebène Cybercity, Ebène.
- Mode of Application: Duly Filled-in application forms can be submitted either on the e-mail account contact@metc.govmu.org or sent by registered post at the following address:

- Applications should reach the above e-mail account or postal address not later than 15:00 hrs on Monday 25 March 2024.
- The post applied for should be clearly indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
- Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
- Copies of certificates, testimonials and other relevant documents should not be submitted at this stage.
- Incomplete, inadequate or inaccurate information will lead to the rejection of applications.
- The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications (if applicable) from the relevant Authorities (Higher Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority) rests on the applicants.
- The Council reserves the right to convene only the best-qualified candidates for the interview.
- The Council reserves the right not to make any appointment following this advertisement.
